Have you ever purchased a new vacuum, and then kept your old one just because you felt guilty throwing it away?  If you live in the UK and buy a Dyson upright or canister vacuum via the Dyson website, you’ll get more than just free shipping. They will actually pick up your old vacuum and haul it away for recycling.

That’s right- if you purchase of of the Dyson vacuum cleaners off of their website (in the UK only), they will actually recycle your old vacuum- no matter the brand.

Given the cost of a Dyson vacuum, I think it’s only fair that they ship free and haul off your old one, but the fact that they’re doing it to comply with, and encourage, the European WEEE Directive, I applaud them for thinking green.
